Ajax Amsterdam Signs Moroccan Talent Elias Mechrouh Until 2029
Ajax Amsterdam has officially announced the signing of Elias Mechrouh’s first professional contract. The 18-year-old Moroccan international forward has signed with the Dutch club until June 30, 2029, rewarding his progress at the academy.
Born in Amsterdam in 2007, Elias Mechrouh joined the Ajax academy in 2023 after spells with FC Volendam and partner club ASC Waterwijk. This season, the player is part of the under-19 squad (O19) coached by Yuri Rose.

The club’s director of football, Marijn Beuker, highlighted the new signing’s technical qualities, emphasizing his excellent dribbling ability and creativity.
