Airlines Offer Special Flights and Refunds Amid Omicron Border Closures

In this difficult period of flight suspensions and drastic measures taken in some countries due to the Omicron variant, airlines have mobilized to offer alternatives to travelers. Here are the details.
To support their customers, these companies have announced several proposals, ranging from repatriation to ticket refunds.
Thus, Royal Air Maroc has offered special flights from Morocco to France between November 30 and December 6.
Same proposal at Air France, which also organized on Tuesday special flights from Marrakech, Casablanca and Rabat to Paris, according to a message from the company on its Twitter account. "The flight program to Morocco from December 6 will be communicated later," the company says on its website, adding that new measures will be taken to serve the France-Morocco direction.
For its part, TUI Fly will offer until December 5, repatriation flights from Morocco to Belgium. 18 special flights are planned and will connect the airports of Marrakech, Agadir, Casablanca, Nador, Tangier, Al Hoceima, Oujda, Rabat and Tetouan to the airports of Brussels, Charleroi and Antwerp, the company said in a press release.
As for Transavia, it has taken similar measures for the benefit of its customers. In the Morocco-France direction, "all Transavia flights are maintained at least until December 5 inclusive in order to ensure the repatriation of customers wishing to return to France," the company points out on its website.
