AirBaltic Launches First African Route: Riga to Marrakech Flights Begin

The Latvian airline AirBaltic now connects Marrakech to Riga (the capital of Latvia). This is its first line to Morocco and the African continent.
Since Monday, AirBaltic operates two weekly flights between its Riga base and Marrakech-Menara airport on Airbus A220-300 aircraft with 145 or 148 passengers. Outbound flights are scheduled on Mondays and Fridays at 7:35 a.m. to arrive at 12:05 p.m. As for the return flights, they leave Marrakech at 12:50 p.m. to land at 7:05 p.m. (flight time 5h30). Potential customers are invited to consult the full flight and ticket schedule on the company’s website.
"We are pleased to launch the new airBaltic route today (Monday, October 31, ed.). Riga is a lively and dynamic city that has a lot to offer to business and leisure travelers. It is the main business center of the Baltic States and also a convenient transfer hub with other connections within our vast network of routes in Scandinavia, Western and Central Europe and beyond," said Martin Gauss, CEO of AirBaltic.
