Air Travel Between France and Morocco Continues Despite Border Restrictions

The closure of French borders due to the coronavirus is not synonymous with a disruption of air traffic. Like Royal Air Maroc, other airlines continue their flights to and from the Hexagon.
Moroccans can still travel to France despite the announcement of the French Head of State following the resurgence of new infections, reports Medias24. "The closure of external borders except for the French and residents in France who will have to undergo rapid screening tests on their arrival in national ports and airports," the President of the French Republic had declared in his message to the nation on Wednesday, October 28.
Contacted, a French diplomat assures that the decision of the Head of State, which came into effect from this Friday, October 30 at midnight, is not yet being implemented. According to him, air links continue between the two countries until further notice. Same sound of the bell on the side of Royal Air Maroc.
According to the national airline, it has not yet been officially notified by the French authorities. "In the absence of official notification from the French authorities, there is currently no change for the flights operated by the national company," added the top management of RAM.
Pending an official statement from the Hexagon, all airlines maintain their links to and from France to Morocco.
