Air Traffic Strike Disrupts Morocco-France Flights, ONDA Warns Travelers

Due to a new strike by French air traffic controllers, flights between Morocco and France will be disrupted or even canceled. The National Airports Office (ONDA) has issued an appeal to travelers in this regard.
New strike at Orly airport. Air traffic controllers have filed a strike notice for Monday, December 18, 2023. "From Sunday, December 17 in the evening until Tuesday, December 19 at 6 a.m., cancellations are expected on departures and arrivals from Paris-Orly and Brest airports," summarizes the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), specifying that disruptions are to be expected throughout the national territory. The administration then asked airlines to reduce their flight schedule by 30% at Paris-Orly airport (Val-de-Marne).
Also, it announced that it will reschedule flights on Monday at Paris-Orly airport and 50% at Brest. In Morocco, the National Airports Office (ONDA) has called on travelers to or from France to check the status of their flights by contacting their airlines.
In November, French air traffic controllers had already organized two strikes to defend the right to strike. This social movement had disrupted air traffic to and from the airport managed by the Aéroports de Paris (ADP) group.
