Air Traffic Controller Strike Disrupts France-Morocco Flights, Affects Major Airports

The air traffic controllers’ strike could lead to the cancellation of several flights between France and Morocco this week. The national airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will certainly make an announcement to this effect in the next few hours.
The air traffic controllers’ strike is forcing the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) to ask airlines to reduce their flight schedules by 20% at the airports of Paris-Orly, Marseille, Toulouse and Bordeaux, on Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29. "From Monday, March 27 in the evening until Thursday, March 30 at 6 a.m., air traffic will be disrupted on departure and arrival at the airports of Paris-Orly, Marseille, Toulouse and Bordeaux," warns the National Interprofessional Social Movement, adding that cancellations and delays are to be expected.
The national airline Royal Air Maroc could announce the cancellation of flights between Morocco and France as it has been doing since the start of a nationwide strike in France against the pension reform and the postponement of the legal retirement age to 64.
