New Air Route Connects Morocco’s Guelmim to Spain’s Las Palmas for $150 Round Trip

The two cities of Guelmim and Las Palmas will finally be connected by two weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The inaugural flight is scheduled for March 3rd.
On Thursday, Mbarka Bouaida, president of the Guelmim Oued Noum regional council, and the representative of the Canary Islands office in Rabat, Elvira Butler, made this announcement, specifying that the launch of this line will be ensured by the Spanish airline Binter, with an ATR 75-seater, reports le 360.
To afford a seat on board, you have to spend 1,500 dirhams to buy a round-trip ticket. This new air link is a boon for the residents of Guelmim who quite often go to the archipelago to visit their families.
As of March 3, 2020, they will save time and money, as they will no longer be required to go to Agadir before taking a flight to Las Palmas.
