Air France KLM Subsidiary Atlas Servair Faces Protests Over 50 Job Cuts in Morocco

About fifty Atlas Servair employees demonstrated on Monday afternoon in front of the company’s headquarters in Casablanca, to protest against their dismissal, which they described as abusive.
In a statement to the website Aljarida24, an employee judged the decision of the company’s managers, a shareholder of Atlas Catering with 40% of the capital, to do without the services of 50 employees as arbitrary and abusive.
After a period of inactivity due to the health crisis, the leader in the field of airline catering, which operates through 3 platforms in Morocco, has decided to terminate employment contracts without any notice or valid reasons, adds the same source.
A social injustice that risks harming several families, another employee indignantly protests, especially since the majority have to face bank loans. Some, with more than 15 years of seniority, are already waiting to know the amount of their severance pay.
