Air France Resumes Flights to Morocco as Country Reopens Airspace

Following the announcement by the Moroccan authorities of the reopening of Moroccan airspace, the airline Air France is rescheduling its flights to the kingdom starting February 7.
"Subject to the agreement of the local authorities, gradual resumption of Air France flights from February 7. Return to the usual program from February 14, with up to 4 flights/day to Casablanca, 3 flights/day to Marrakech and 3 flights/day to Rabat," the French airline announced on its Twitter account.
On Thursday, the Moroccan government announced the reopening of the airspace that had been closed since November 29, 2021 to passenger flights departing and arriving in Morocco as of February 7. "This decision comes in accordance with the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency and following the recommendations of the scientific and technical commission and taking into account the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the kingdom," it said in a statement.
