Agadir Expands Tourism: 15 New Investment Zones Unveiled Along Atlantic Coast

In order to strengthen its tourism offer, the Souss-Massa region has identified a total of 15 areas in Agadir, dedicated to tourism investment. They cover 1300 hectares under development or in project.
These areas are established on places recognized as being of tourist interest, i.e. mainly on the coastline, given the geographical specificity of the Greater Agadir metropolis which runs along the Atlantic coast, reports Aujourd’hui au Maroc.
More specifically, the investment will consist of building surf villages, guesthouses, hostels, clubs, leisure areas, surf schools, catering areas, nature-related activity areas and wildlife areas, taking into account the future challenges of sustainable tourism.
Among these areas, 4 are currently under development. These are the Imsouane "Beach" area, on 20 ha, the Drarga Animal and Recreation Park (130 ha), the Anchor Point area (32 ha) and finally the Aghroud area (594 ha).
