Agadir Emerges as Yoga Tourism Hotspot on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast

The yoga niche in the city of Agadir is taking on an important place within the tourist offerings. It remains a new attraction that will boost the tourism figures in the capital of Souss.
The trend is not new, but its rise to power in the tourist landscape of Agadir remains a new attraction. According to Les Inspirations Eco, this segment responds today to a very specific demand, since it is a question for the enthusiasts, of spending the holidays in a restful setting facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Thus, an economic interest has developed around this practice, which has led to the installation of yoga studios and the implementation of strategies and sales arguments to attract this tourist clientele.
According to the same source, among the establishments located north of Agadir and having already developed this practice, is the Paradis Plage hotel. Yoga is preferred by 30% of the clientele who choose to stay in this hotel establishment, which also offers other activities such as surfing, fitness, and spa. "Thanks to the development of the yoga niche, we are currently targeting American flows," says a manager of the establishment.
Tour operators who market this type of stay also require environmental criteria and eco-responsible actions. A certificate, issued by IMANOR, is also necessary. We also learn that other actions are being initiated as part of this tourist concept.
