Agadir Beach Crackdown: Authorities Enforce Rules for Summer Season

Vacationers, especially Moroccans living abroad, can once again fully enjoy the beach of Agadir following the multiplication of interventions by the authorities to enforce the law.
Goodbye to improvised barbecues, tents pitched anywhere and chairs monopolizing the public space. The local authorities have taken firm measures to preserve the aesthetics of this very popular place during the summer.
The ban on cooking and making fires on the sand, as well as the anarchic installation of tents and tarps, has been generalized. Similarly, beach chairs can no longer be scattered at random by individuals seeking to appropriate the space.
These initiatives have been welcomed by tourists, especially Moroccans living abroad in this city very popular during the summer vacation.
