Agadir Airport Sees 68% Plunge in Passenger Traffic Amid Pandemic

The Agadir-Al Massira airport recorded a 68% drop in passenger traffic at the end of October 2020, according to statistics from the National Airports Office (ONDA).
The number of passengers who transited through the Agadir-Al Massira airport recorded a 68.72% drop during the first 10 months of the current year, it is specified.
This drop in the number of passengers is linked to the consequences of the health crisis due to the coronavirus and the suspension of air traffic for more than 8 months. In detail, 525,730 passengers were recorded, compared to 1,280,251 travelers at the end of October 2019.
At the national level, the Agadir-Al Massira airport is ranked third, just behind Marrakech-Menara, which is in second place with a total of 1,412,479 travelers. As for the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, it ranks first with 2,518,559 travelers.
