Several months after the suspension of their activities due to the coronavirus pandemic, airports are gradually resuming their activities. Like the other airports in the kingdom, Agadir Al Massira Airport is also preparing to welcome passengers again.
To relaunch the activities of these airports, the National Airports Office (ONDA) has issued new security measures to ensure the protection of the various passengers, the staff of the airport infrastructure while restoring confidence in this activity.
In this regard, a system established on 3 axes, namely airport operations and flow management, awareness and information, as well as cleaning and disinfection, has been put in place to ensure a healthy passage for passengers.
In a statement to the MAP, the head of airport operations, Amina Aglif, noted "that a battery of measures has been put in place with a view to the imminent reopening of air traffic at Agadir-Al Massira airport". It aims to protect the health safety of travelers and staff.
To recall, the Agadir Al Massira airport exceeded for the first time, last December, the 2 million passenger mark, thus becoming the 3rd largest airport in the Kingdom in terms of passenger traffic, behind Marrakech and Casablanca.
