After a Year-Long Suspension, Air Corsica Returns to Casablanca

Air Corsica will reinstate Casablanca in its schedule from Bastia. After an interruption in 2025, the Corsican airline will once again offer direct flights to Morocco’s economic capital for four weeks in the autumn.

The Bastia-Casablanca route is scheduled to resume on October 11, 2026, according to scheduling data published by AeroRoutes. One flight per week is planned until November 1, aboard an Airbus A320neo.

This is therefore a return limited in time, rather than the resumption of a year-round regular route. Air Corsica had suspended this service in 2025.

The airline is already familiar with the Moroccan market. During the winter of 2026, it had scheduled several direct flights from Ajaccio and Bastia to Marrakech and Fès. Bastia was notably connected to Marrakech between February 28 and March 7.

As early as 2023, the airline had also offered flights to Marrakech from Bastia, Figari and Ajaccio, during the All Saints’ holiday period and throughout November.

The return of the Bastia-Casablanca route provides Moroccans living in Corsica with a direct travel option, without a connection on the mainland. These routes also meet the needs of seasonal workers: for several years, Air Corsica has operated specially chartered flights to transport Moroccan workers employed in Corsican harvests.

A total of four round trips are scheduled between Bastia and Casablanca, on October 11, 18 and 25, as well as November 1. Their possible continuation will depend on future adjustments to Air Corsica’s schedule.
