Adel Taarabt Eyes AC Milan Return, Reflects on Past Stint with Italian Giants

The Benfica midfielder, Adel Taarabt, expresses his desire to join the AC Milan squad again.
"When I think of Italy, I think of Milan. [...] It’s a top club where I had the opportunity to play with great players like Kaka," the Moroccan international told Sky Sport Italia. Adel Taarabt says he had a good time but regrets not being able to continue the adventure with the Rossoneri.
The 31-year-old player believes that if Seedorf had stayed, "the story could have been different because they brought in Inzaghi, who had a different idea of football." The Moroccan international regrets not having the opportunity to return in the following years.
In January 2014, Adel Taarabt was loaned to AC Milan until the end of the season. In his first appearance in Serie A against Napoli, he scored his first goal with the Milanese but lost the match (3-1 defeat). His stint is summed up as: 16 appearances, four goals and two assists.
