Abandoned baby saved in the nick of time in Tangier

An abandoned baby was found on Monday by a group of passersby in an alley in the Ganboria neighborhood of Tangier. Unfortunately, the phenomenon is growing in the kingdom.
The baby’s cries attracted the attention of passersby who retrieved and transported him to the Mohammed V Hospital. The local authorities were informed of this discovery. The judicial police went to the scene to make the usual findings. An investigation has been opened to elucidate the case.
More and more children are being abandoned in the city of Tangier. These are generally children born out of wedlock. According to experts and human rights defenders, more than 100 children are abandoned every day in the kingdom.
