9-Year-Old Moroccan Prodigy Clinches Silver in Global STEM Olympiad

A brilliant student from the Moroccan Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (CMRIA) has achieved a feat in Barcelona (Spain), where he is participating in the grand final of the International Science and Technology Olympiad (STEM).
Adam Ghiadi, 9 years old, proudly represents Morocco. He won second place in the programming category at the International Science and Technology Olympiad (STEM), which was recently held in Barcelona, Spain, thus winning a silver medal. An exploit hailed by the Moroccan Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (CMRIA).
"Thanks to his exceptional talent in programming and his mastery of programming languages, Adam stands out among hundreds of young talents from around the world. He develops these skills every day at the CMRIA through innovative projects in robotics, coding and artificial intelligence," the CMRIA proudly states in a post on its Facebook account.
For the CMRIA, this achievement reflects the potential and excellence of Moroccan youth in the field of advanced technologies. Elyas El Moutawakkil, the CMRIA’s representative, sees this exploit as an encouraging sign for Morocco’s scientific and technological future. "Adam’s story will inspire other children to believe in their potential and open up to the world of innovation," he added.
