World Cup Champion Nabil Fekir Auctions Diamond Ring for Morocco Earthquake, Libya Flood Victims

Former Lyon player Nabil Fekir parted with a precious possession to show his solidarity with the victims of the earthquake in Al Haouz, Morocco and the floods in Libya.
Nabil Fekir, a member of the French team that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia, had received, like all the other 23 players, a 3-carat white diamond ring with the colors of the French flag, his name, his number and the inscription World Cup Champions. The former Lyon player decided to part with this cherished souvenir to help the victims of the earthquake in Morocco and the floods in Libya.
Fekir offered his World Cup champion ring for the auction organized by YouTuber AmineMaTue to help the victims of these natural disasters. The jewel was sold for 42,500 euros during an evening event on Twitch. In total, 106,862 euros were raised. "Bravo Adrien! Thank you to AmineMaTue, thank you to everyone for participating and for the aid to Libya and Morocco @seedcharity," Fekir posted on X (formerly Twitter).
