The World Bank has just revised its economic growth forecasts upwards for Morocco for the year 2019.
The international financial institution now expects growth of 2.9%, 0.2 points better than what was announced last June. This increase is due to "the improvement in tourism activity" and "the reform of companies."
Next year, 3.5% is expected, the same figure is also expected in 2021, estimates the World Bank.
For its part, Bank Al-Maghrib forecasts economic growth of 3.1% in 2019 and 3.6% in 2020.
