World Bank Invests $800 Million in Morocco’s Social, Agricultural, and Urban Programs

Three financing agreements totaling $800 million have been signed by the Minister of Economy, Mohamed Benchaâboun, and the World Bank (WB) Country Director for the Maghreb, Jesko Hentscel.
These agreements signed on Tuesday in Rabat concern social protection for an investment of $400 million, the "Green Generation" program with $250 million, and the programming and modernization of urban transport for $150 million.
The signing took place in the presence of the Minister of National Education and government spokesperson, Said Amzazi.
