Widespread Cheating Scandal Rocks Moroccan Medical School Entrance Exams

In Morocco, cases of cheating have been observed during the entrance exams to medical schools. The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation is on the hot seat.
Cheating, a deep-rooted practice. Although the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation has set the average access to medical school above 12 out of 20, cases of cheating have been observed in the last exam. This is evidenced by the dissemination of screenshots of private groups dedicated to medical exams on social media. These screenshots are exchanges showing that candidates for the medical school entrance exams organized massive cheating, informed the Arabic-language daily Assabah. The source of this cheating is the leakage of the exams.
The department of Abdellatif Miraoui is on the accused bench. On the web, doctors and medical students "blame him for having organized a unified national exam in all regions that did not start at the same time". According to them, the expansion of the training base was done with a lot of haste with the reduction of the average admission grade to the faculty and the duration of training, as well as the integration of Ukrainian students. All of which lead them to conclude that the sector is poorly managed.
