Water cuts in Marrakech?

Residents of several neighborhoods in the city of Marrakech are complaining about the drop in drinking water flow and cuts. There are also rumors of poor water quality reaching the taps. The autonomous water and electricity distribution agency of the city, Radeema, has not provided any explanation to the residents about these disturbances, nor tried to reassure them, let alone deny these rumors.
Local stakeholders have told the Al3omk website that they have tried several times to contact the agency via the toll-free number it has indicated in a press release. Without success. The media also reports that it was unable to reach Radeema through this same channel, despite its multiple attempts.
In this note, the agency states that "the drinking water production facility under the National Office of Electricity and Water - Water Branch has experienced some disturbances" and that "the agency’s distribution network will experience a drop in water flow that may go up to the interruption of supply in all neighborhoods of the city".
But Radeema has not provided any explanation to the people of Marrakech about these "disturbances", nor has it tried to reassure them about the quality of the water and the low flow noted in certain neighborhoods, despite the rumors widely relayed on social networks stating that "the water reaching the taps in certain neighborhoods of Marrakech is not potable".
The agency has not deigned to clarify or deny this information, even though it has several communication channels to inform citizens. The latter denounce this lack of information from the agency which, in most cases, is content to send a brief press release to partner media.
