After Marrakech, Volotea has announced the launch of a new route to Morocco. The airline will soon connect Lille to Agadir.

This second line to Morocco will be launched on November 10, 2024, with a weekly rotation on Sundays, Air Journal reports. With this new link to Agadir, Volotea intends to "offer Lille residents the opportunity to discover the enchanting charms of the famous Moroccan seaside resort."

"We are delighted to announce the launch of this new air link to Agadir from Lille airport. Our goal is to offer our customers even more options to discover new horizons, especially during the winter season. This new route demonstrates our commitment to strengthening connectivity between the Hauts-de-France region and popular destinations like Agadir. It adds to our existing extensive network and illustrates our continued desire to expand our horizons," said Gilles Gosselin, Volotea’s France manager.

The Lille-Agadir route is the 30th from Lille airport and the 2nd to Morocco after Marrakech. The company operates routes from Lille to 8 countries: Morocco, France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria and Portugal.
