Violent Clash Erupts Among Moroccan Migrants in Canary Islands Parking Lot

On Monday afternoon, in a parking lot in San Fernando de Las Palmas, violent clashes broke out between several individuals who would be of Moroccan origin. A witness recorded the scene.
The local police and the national police rushed to the scene. Despite the aggressiveness of the participants, the intervention of the ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) sent to the scene was not necessary. No injuries or loss of life were reported, reports La Razon, to whom several sources have stated that the majority of the participants are of Moroccan origin.
With the massive influx of immigrants recorded during the past year, the issue of security in the Canary Islands is described as worrying. It has also been denounced in various media, after the attack on civil guards by two illegal immigrants in a hotel in Arguineguin, in Las Palmas.
