Urgent Plea: 23-Year-Old Architecture Student Needs €250,000 for Life-Saving Transplant in Paris

The relatives of Aya Boumzebra, a fourth-year architecture student, have launched a humanitarian and urgent appeal for all people of goodwill to mobilize to save the 23-year-old young woman who must undergo a second organ transplant in Paris.

Aya Boumzebra’s family has launched an urgent appeal to raise the sum of 250,000 euros to allow her to undergo a second organ transplant in Paris. The 23-year-old student was admitted to the Paul-Brousse hospital in Villejuif after a serious deterioration in her health condition.

She is currently in intensive care in room number 11 in critical condition. "Every donation, even modest, can make a difference and give Aya a chance of healing, resuming her studies and realizing her dreams," the young woman’s family is convinced. It calls on all benefactors in Morocco and abroad to contribute to this urgent humanitarian action. Its hope rests on the solidarity of living hearts and consciences.

Aya has suffered from a liver disease since childhood. She had undergone a successful liver transplant a year ago. Her story has been made public on social media, after activists launched a vast solidarity campaign under the hashtag #أنقذوا_آية (#SaveAya), calling hundreds of people to act quickly to support her, whether through donations or by widely disseminating her story. They hope that the necessary amount will be raised in time to save Aya.
