UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov Cancels Highly Anticipated Fight with Tony Ferguson Due to COVID-19

Due to the spread of covid-19, the Russian star of mixed martial arts (MMA), Khabib Nurmagomedov, crossed out, on Wednesday, his fight against the American, Tony Fergusson, scheduled for April 18.
On his Instagram account, the UFC lightweight champion (the most important professional MMA league) said he did not want to leave Russia. "I understand everything, but I’m much more disappointed than you to cancel this fight [...] ", he specified on the social network.
The winner of the Irish superstar, Conor McGregor, also announced that he had many projects after the fight, but that he could not control everything.
It should be noted that this fight is the third event canceled by the UFC, due to the inability to find a venue to host it, due to the restrictions put in place to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
