New Twist in Moroccan School Assault Case: 8-Year-Old Victim Names Mother as Attacker

The case of the 8-year-old girl who was allegedly assaulted by her teacher has seen new developments following the marathon hearing that lasted more than 5 hours at the Court of Appeal of Agadir.
In response to the judge’s question about the perpetrator of the assault, little Meriem would have mentioned her mother, according to sources at the court, relayed by Agadir24. A statement that the defense of the accused seized to plead for the provisional release of his client.
Pending the verdict, scheduled for next Tuesday, the Court looked into the request of the 12 lawyers regarding the provisional release of the teacher.
Last December, Meriem, an 8-year-old schoolgirl, was the victim of a savage assault resulting in bruises and bruises. While her teacher is strongly suspected, voices were raised from the beginning to point the finger at her parents.
