Turkish Coffee Chain Boost to Open 8 New Outlets in Morocco, Challenging Starbucks

The Turkish chain Boost Coffee intends to make a place for itself on the Moroccan market and announces an expansion in the coming months.
Boost Coffee plans to expand its Moroccan network with eight new outlets in the next 18 months, according to World coffee portal. The chain, which entered Morocco in 2021 with a first store in Casablanca followed by a second in 2023, thus aims to increase its presence in the country, bringing the total number of its stores to ten.
Boost Coffee intends to gain market share in the country, where it faces competition from established players such as the American Starbucks, the French Paul and Columbus Café & Co, or its compatriot Espresso Lab. According to a report by the Fitch Solutions agency, Morocco represents the second largest retail coffee market in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with total revenue of $1.3 billion for coffee products in 2022.
