Tunisair Launches Repatriation Flights for Tunisians Stranded in Morocco

The airline Tunisair, in coordination with the Tunisian embassy in Rabat, is organizing the first repatriation flight of Tunisians stranded in Morocco following Morocco’s decision to suspend air links. A plane will take off from Mohammed V-Casablanca International Airport tomorrow, Sunday, April 18, 2021.
In total, two repatriation flights of Tunisians stranded in Morocco will be operated by Tunisair. In a press release, the airline specifies that one of its planes will take off from Mohammed V-Casablanca International Airport on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 11:35 p.m. towards Tunisia. The second flight to Tunisia departing from the same airport is scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 11:35 p.m.
Passengers holding a ticket for the TU712 flight on April 18 are invited to go to the Tunisair agency in Casablanca to modify their tickets. Tunisian citizens wishing to return to Tunisia are called upon to purchase tickets for the TU712 flight on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Faced with the worrying spread of new variants of the coronavirus in the world, Morocco suspended air links with Tunisia on April 15, 2021. As a result, many Tunisians found themselves stranded in the kingdom.
