TUI Fly Passengers Stranded for Hours at Deauville Airport After Marrakech Flight Breakdown

Travelers blocked on Wednesday, September 18, at Deauville Airport for several hours. Leaving Marrakech where they were on vacation, their plane made a stopover in Deauville but a technical breakdown got the better of this aircraft which, despite the hours of waiting, could not take off again for Brest, its final destination.
Big hassle on Wednesday, September 18 at Deauville Airport for the 53 passengers of the plane chartered by the Belgian company TUI Fly, which was bringing vacationers back from Marrakech to Brittany.
According to Le télégramme, when landing at 10:30 a.m. for a stopover, a technical breakdown detected just before takeoff forced the passengers to travel to Brest by coach chartered by the company.
The 53 passengers will reach Brest around 8 p.m. when their plane was originally supposed to land at 11:30 a.m. But they won’t be the only ones to pay for this technical breakdown.
According to Le télégramme, the passengers who were supposed to board the same plane at 11:40 a.m., from Brest to Marrakech, were also penalized. According to the airport’s website, they had to be patient until 10:30 p.m. before they could return to Morocco.
