Trial Delayed for Suspects in Moroccan Passport Forgery Scheme Involving Israelis

The defendants in the case of falsification of Moroccan passports, for the benefit of Israelis, will have to wait longer to be tried. Indeed, the trial has been postponed to next Tuesday.
On December 10th, these forgers of Moroccan passports will appear before the court. This is what Judge Ali Tarchi decided. A confrontation between the accused Mimoun B. and the main suspect of the forgery network allowed the court to obtain details on this case, reports Barlamene.
According to the testimony of the latter, Mimoun B. would be the mastermind of the network. Claiming to have been put in contact with the Israelis by the same individual, she adds that "he even went to the districts himself to obtain several documents". For his part, Mimoun B. brushed aside all the accusations against him.
In a statement, the DGSN had explained the modus operandi of this criminal network. In order to obtain false certificates of non-registration in the civil registry, the defendants falsify birth certificates for the benefit of Israeli citizens who do not have Moroccan origins. The primary objective here is to be able to include these individuals in judicial case files, in order to then claim their registration authorization in the civil registry. Finally, they will be able to "obtain birth certificates with the identities of Moroccan Jews" for them.
In this case, there are a total of 28 people accused, including 7 Israelis and 6 police officers.
