Trial Begins for Casablanca Faith Healer Accused of Raping Client During Exorcism
The trial of the raqi named Mossab, charged with a rape he allegedly committed during a Roqya Charîya session, begins this Wednesday in Casablanca. And no, this is not the raqi from Berkane. This one bewitches with incantations, which will moreover be mentioned in court...
According to Alyaoum24 which relays this information: "The details of this case date back to last year when a young woman in her thirties filed a complaint against the raqi, Mossab, accusing him of raping her during the roqya charîya. This prompted the authorities to arrest him and close his roqya center."
Still according to the same source, the plaintiff who refuses to reveal her identity to the press would have claimed that the raqi had tricked her into believing that she was possessed and that she had to go through roqya sessions in order to get rid of her unwanted guest.
Furthermore, during one of these sessions, Mossab, the raqi, would have taken advantage of his mother’s absence to make her lose consciousness with incantations before raping her, in the roqya center.
