Transavia Expands Morocco Routes with New Nantes-Oujda Flight from €49

The Transavia company plans to launch a new air link from France to Morocco next spring.
Starting May 3, the Dutch low-cost airline will launch a new link between Nantes-Atlantique airport and Oujda-Angads airport in Morocco, without competition and starting at 49 euros TTC one-way, reports Air Journal. It has also decided to extend the lines connecting Nantes to Fez, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote next summer, bringing to 35 the number of destinations served from Atlantique airport.
Other links proposed for next spring: Marseille-Provence/Lille-Lesquin and Marseille-Rennes/Brittany (March 27 and October 28, 2022) and Nantes/Atlantique-Figari/South Corsica (starting April 9, 2022). The flight offer "could be reassessed depending on the evolution of demand in the coming months," Transavia notes in a press release, adding that the flight program "remains very evolving and will be subject to the health conditions and restrictions imposed by the authorities of the countries concerned."
The low-cost company is also granting a favor to its customers. "To give its customers even more flexibility in organizing their trips and choice in their travels, Transavia offers a change of tickets without modification fees (excluding fare difference)," announces Nicolas Hénin, Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing for Transavia France. Travelers will be able to modify their ticket up to 2 hours before the flight. Thanks to the Travel Insurance, Covid-19 coverage is now included in all insurance offers proposed at the time of booking tickets on Transavia, in order to allow passengers to travel with peace of mind."
