Transavia Expands Morocco-France Routes, Boosting Tourism with 14 New Flights

Transavia has announced the launch of 14 new air routes to Morocco from France starting from winter 2025-2026.

The low-cost subsidiary of Air France-KLM is strengthening its partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), announcing the opening of 14 new routes between France and Morocco and the addition of more than 130,000 seats from summer 2025. This new development plan provides for a 30% increase in capacity between the two countries, with the aim of strengthening the connection between different French and Moroccan regions and making Morocco an accessible and attractive tourist destination in all seasons.

Transavia intends to connect Moroccan airports in Agadir, Marrakech, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla or Errachidia with those of French cities such as Rennes, Lille, Biarritz, Brest, Deauville, Montpellier, Toulouse, Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes or Paris. Some of the Moroccan airports will see their direct service. This is the case for Agadir, which will position itself as a seasonal hub, or Marrakech, which will host two Transavia aircraft at its base. A first for the company, which has never stationed its aircraft outside French territory.

This summer program also includes a Nantes-Essaouira route, as well as direct flights from Marseille, Bordeaux or Paris to Dakhla and Ouarzazate. With these new routes, Morocco becomes Transavia’s top destination in terms of available seat kilometers, a key indicator of air route performance. Communication and marketing actions will be carried out to strengthen the visibility of Moroccan destinations among French and European audiences.
