Tragic Jet Ski Accident Claims Lives of Two Girls at Moroccan Beach

Water sports are very popular during this time of year. But they can sometimes cause dramatic accidents, especially if safety measures are not taken seriously.

Yesterday, two young girls ventured onto the Bouznika beach, aboard a jet ski. Forgetting to wear their life jackets, they had difficulty cushioning the fall after the craft overturned. Despite the rapid arrival of the rescue services, nothing could be done to save them.

The bodies of the two victims were taken to the morgue while an investigation was opened by the Royal Gendarmerie services, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in order to determine the circumstances of the deaths.
