Tragic House Fire in Oujda Claims Toddler’s Life, Severely Injures Sister

A 2-year-old child died, last Monday afternoon, in a house fire in the Smara neighborhood of Oujda. His sister, a miracle survivor, was seriously injured.
The causes of this fire, which ravaged a large part of the house, are still unknown. According to relatives, it would be due to a lighter malfunction.
Alone in the middle of this disaster, the two children could not escape the grip of the flames, resulting in the death of the 2-year-old baby, while his 4-year-old sister suffers from second-degree burns.
She was rushed to the Oujda hospital center. As in such situations, an investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
