Tragic Fall: 5-Year-Old Girl Dies in Liège Apartment Accident

A 5-year-old Liège girl, Alla Rezkallah, died after accidentally falling from the 3rd floor of a building. The family is in shock.
The little girl lives with her parents in an apartment on the third and top floor of a building in the Vennes neighborhood of Liège. Around 9:30 p.m., she slips over the railing of the open window of her room and falls. She dies a few moments later, under the helpless gaze of her loved ones and the emergency services who arrived on the scene.
It is total consternation. The family is in shock: the older brother and twin sister of the victim, her pregnant mother, and her father. They receive the support of the Algerian community who, having learned the sad news, has mobilized, along with the neighborhood committee, to show them all their closeness.
Alla Rezkallah will be buried in Algeria as soon as the country’s borders reopen.
An investigation has been opened by the Liège public prosecutor’s office to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy that has shaken the entire neighborhood.
