Tragic End: Moroccan Woman Dies After Killing French Husband in Bhalil Knife Attack

The woman who killed her husband - a Moroccan residing in France - with a knife in Bhalil, in the province of Sefrou, died at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez.
According to sources close to the family of the deceased husband, victim of a homicide in Bhalil, the wife suspected of having killed her husband died on Saturday evening at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez. This woman had been immediately transferred to the university hospital after losing consciousness following the ingestion of a large quantity of medication. A spousal homicide had just been committed.
A man in his fifties, residing in France, was killed with a sharp weapon on the morning of Monday, August 11th by his wife. She killed him before attempting to commit suicide by ingesting a toxic substance and striking her body, reported the website Al3omk. According to the neighborhood residents, the irreparable act was committed after the victim’s return from the dawn prayer (Fajr).
Informed of the incident by a family member, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and the scientific police immediately went to the crime scene. The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the Bhalil district proceeded to arrest the alleged perpetrator. As for the victim’s body, it was transferred to the morgue for an autopsy supervised by the competent prosecutor’s office in order to know the circumstances of the crime and to verify the actual identity of the alleged perpetrator.
