Tragic Electrocution: Mentally Ill Man Dies Atop Power Pole in Morocco

A young man would be in Oulad Frej, in the El Jadida region, dead from electrocution after climbing an electricity pole with the declared intention of taking his own life, although it is not known whether he intended to go through with it. And there was another suicide the same day in Oulad Frej.
A young homeless man with mental disorders, according to the Mowatine website, would have climbed to the top of an electricity pole to kill himself. He would have remained there for 30 minutes, threatening to jump, before being electrocuted. He fell on fire from the top of the electricity pole and would have died on the spot. The same source specifies that this is not the only "suicide" to have taken place in Oulad Frej that day.
