Tragic Drowning: Child Swept Away in Rhamna’s Oued Ghdate River

The commune of Jâaidate in the province of Rhamna, was shaken by a tragic incident: the death of a child swept away by the waters of Oued Ghdate.
According to local sources, the child would have taken advantage of a moment of inattention from his mother who was washing wool, to dive into the water. Everything happened so fast according to the witnesses. Before the mother realized that her child had disappeared, he had already been swallowed by the waters. The body was recovered and taken to the morgue for an autopsy, reports barlamane.com.
An investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office to determine the ins and outs of this tragic incident.
