Tourists Escape Massive Landslide on Popular Moroccan Mountain Road

An impressive landslide caused panic on the Ourika road leading to the Setti Fatma region. Foreign tourists narrowly escaped it.
Foreign tourists in Morocco had the fright of their lives. A landslide occurred on the Ourika road leading to the Setti Fatma region, in the afternoon of Friday, May 10, reports the site Kech24. Rocks and stones disrupted traffic for nearly two hours. The road will be closed in both directions. Informed, the regional authorities went to the scene. Excavators and trucks were deployed on the ground to move the rocks and debris, thus restoring the fluidity of traffic.
Fortunately, no loss of human life or property was recorded. The tourists emerged unscathed.
