Toulouse Airport Intensifies Screening for Travelers from Morocco Amid COVID Concerns

At Toulouse-Blagnac airport, customs officers are checking travelers arriving from Morocco and other countries. Health measures have also been strengthened for departures on foreign holidays.
"I have been tested several times in Morocco and the checks went well," says Hossam, who returned from Marrakech, to La Dépêche du Midi. This Moroccan is exempt from isolation after his arrival on French territory, as France has classified Morocco as an orange zone, a country where the virus is still circulating but is under control and where there is no worrying variant.

Travelers who are about to leave for abroad, on the other hand, must have a negative PCR or antigen test certificate. The only sine qua non condition to take their flight. A measure that is well received by travelers. "We are in the middle of a health crisis, it is normal to comply with it," admits Tuna, who has to leave for Istanbul.
According to an employee, the airport is working to ensure the best possible health safety of passengers in these times of Covid-19. "Nothing is left to chance," she confides. With the help of the TravelDoc application, "we look at the health conditions according to the countries to guide the clients and to see if they can pass. For example, if they don’t have tests, we redirect them to the airport’s screening center," she added.
