Tiktoker Highlights Street Harassment in Morocco, Sparks Debate on Sexism

A famous tiktoker has just visited Morocco and comes to the conclusion that it is the most sexist country in the world. However, she praised Moroccan hospitality.
"When you travel alone in Morocco, many men look at you. Many men greet you and tell you ’sexy’ every time you go there. No matter what you wear, whether you wear long or short clothes, they will say things to you because you are a woman," said a young Tiktoker in a video posted on her Claujoor account as she walked through a street in the kingdom. She is used to documenting the countries she visits, reports Daily Mail. In another video, she is grabbed by the shoulder by a man in the street in Morocco as she was walking past a group of men.
The traveler then started to scream. "What happened? Why did he touch me?" she wondered. She also denounced the behavior of male drivers. "As a girl in Morocco, walking along a street, on a road, every time a car passes, it goes beep-beep," she further stated in a video. "I swear that if the girls at the wheel did that to the guys, the guys would yell at the cars."
The solo traveler advised women on how to behave when walking the streets of Morocco. "So just try to ignore them, try to focus on yourself and yourself," she advised.
However, the tiktoker appreciated her stay in the kingdom in other videos. She made a video in a Moroccan restaurant, titled: "Moroccans are the best." "I feel ’safer than in Europe’," she said in another video, claiming that everyone in the country "treats her very well."
