Three Young Moroccans Missing at Sea, Families Claim Algerian Detention

Three young Moroccans aged between 23 and 28 have been missing for several days as they tried to reach the Spanish coast by jet ski. They would be in detention in Algeria, according to their families.
Karim Bensaati (23 years old), Mohamed Talbi (25 years old) and Hamza Ayoubi (28 years old) have been missing since August 13. They would have bought a jet ski to go to the Spanish coast, but would have been captured by the Algerian authorities according to their families.
The three young men, from the city of Al Araoui, "are currently in a prison in Algiers," said a source to El Faro de Ceuta. Four other Moroccans from the same city have also been missing for two weeks after trying to reach Spain by jet ski.
