Three Arrested for Attempting to Force Entry into Moroccan Mosque During Lockdown

Three individuals who were trying to forcibly enter a mosque located in Jamaat Shaim were arrested on Monday by the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Safi.
It all started with the desire of these three individuals to pray in the mosque in Safi, in violation of the state of emergency imposed by the government.
According to the initial elements of the investigation, the three suspects had gone, last Monday, to the Benalia douar where they had assaulted the imam who had prevented them from opening the door of the mosque.
Ordered to leave the premises, the accused refused to comply with the local authorities and attacked the elements of the auxiliary forces.
Arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office near the court of first instance of Safi, they were placed in custody for the needs of the investigation.
