Tetouan Authorities Limit Market Trips to Once Weekly Amid COVID-19 Concerns

The authorities in Tetouan want to restrict outings for market shopping through the control of attendance in popular markets and the affixing of the date on the exceptional exit authorizations of people.
According to the local authorities of the city, the objective is to limit if possible the exit to the market to once a week in order to avoid crowds in these public places and the risk of contagion to covid-19.
This measure does not concern the shopping centers of the city, which have called on private security agents to organize customer access and control their exceptional exit authorizations.
It rather concerns the Saniat Rmel market as well as the neighborhood markets in various districts of the city in order to urge the inhabitants to do their shopping in their places of residence.
According to the local authorities, any offender could have his exit authorization permanently confiscated.
