American actress Tessa Thompson appeared in a form-fitting dress from the Casablanca brand by Franco-Moroccan Charaf Tajer for the promotion of her latest film "passing".
It is a form-fitting dress from the Casablanca brand, complemented by checkered costumes along the entire length of the outfit that American actress Tessa Thompson chose for the promotion of her latest film, "passing", reports Arab News. A choice made by Hollywood stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald. In front of media professionals, the American star shone brightly in her dress.
"Passing" traces the story of a black woman in late 1920s New York, whose life is literally turned upside down when she reconnects with a childhood friend who is passing as white. The film was well received by critics after its premiere on Netflix last November.
Several celebrities like British pop star and model Dua Lipa have adopted Casablanca. The Parisian brand is known for its ultra-wearable luxury silk and cashmere clothing inspired by the Moroccan roots of its designer, Charaf Tajer. In 2018, its first show at Paris Men’s Fashion Week was a love letter to his parents who met while working side by side in a clothing workshop in the fashion district of Casablanca.
