Terrorist Who Beheaded French Teacher Confirmed as Author of Twitter Claim

The facts are confirmed. The claim text, recorded at 12:17 p.m. and the photo of the beheaded teacher at 4:57 p.m., were found on the attacker’s phone, after the initial inspections of his phone found next to his body.

Abdoullah A., born on March 12, 2002 in Moscow, had refugee status and no criminal record; he was shot dead by the police after "running towards them and firing five times with a handgun". His act prompted three police officers to retaliate, causing the attacker to fall. "(...) He was neutralized by the security forces with nine bullet impacts on his body," the prosecutor explained. In addition, about thirty meters from the crime scene, "a second knife with a total length of 35 centimeters, bloodied," was found, the prosecutor added.

Currently in custody are nine people, including the father of a student of the beheaded teacher who had called for mobilization and the dismissal of the teacher on social networks following the incident of the withdrawal of Muslim students to show a caricature of the prophet of Islam, according to the same source.

Emmanuel Macron had gone to the crime scene, where he had denounced "a characterized Islamist attack" on Friday evening. "All of us together will stand firm. (...) They will not divide us.
