History Teacher Beheaded in France After Showing Muhammad Caricature in Class

The victim is none other than the history teacher who asked Muslim students a week ago to leave his class so as not to shock them with the caricature of the Prophet Muhammad, naked. This had provoked outraged reactions from some parents, reports Sud Ouest.

The wave of indignation is overwhelming: "It makes me sad, beheaded on top of that, it’s shocking," regretted Virginie, a 15-year-old student who knew the teacher. "I saw him today, he came to my class to see our teacher, it shocks me," added Tiago, a 6th grade student, who is witnessing the media uproar, alongside his parents, neighbors of the establishment. "It’s the countryside here, nothing usually happens," saddened Nordine Chaouadi who was also on the scene. "I feel super bad, it’s crazy, it’s incredible (...) all the prophets, even Jesus, they’ve all been insulted for 2,000 years, it’s nothing new," launched a Muslim father.

His alleged killer was killed by the police a little later, a few meters away, in the town of Eragny (Val-d’Oise). The anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office was seized at the same time and Emmanuel Macron went to the scene in the evening.
